One of the many ways our supporters give back to staff is by providing them with relaxing and welcoming areas where they can take their breaks during long shifts. You’ve upgraded staff rest areas with kettles, microwaves, and coffee machines which give staff vital pick-me-ups, alongside 10,000 water bottles and coffee mugs to keep them hydrated while on their feet.
The 2020 winter was the busiest in the history of the NHS; our staff were pushed to their limits while they carried the burden the third wave placed on our NHS. We are so proud of our donors, who showed those fighting on the frontlines of the pandemic just how much they cared.
