The London Marathon will be back on Sunday 26 April, 2026 – and you could be there representing Southmead Hospital Charity, helping our amazing NHS go further to enhance care for patients.
This world-famous marathon takes you past many of the most memorable landmarks in London, including Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and The Shard. With around 50,000 runners and thousands of spectators lining the streets to cheer you on, the atmosphere at the London Marathon promises an unforgettable experience.
The ballot typically opens the weekend of the marathon and closes seven days later. Be sure to enter when it opens on the official London Marathon website.
If you are one of the lucky entrants that are successful in the ballot, you will receive the same level of support from us as our charity place runners. Just let us know you want to run for Southmead Hospital Charity!
We’ll have a limited number of charity places available in the London Marathon 2026.
We ask our runners to raise a minimum of £2,500 excluding Gift Aid, with £1,000 raised by 31 January 2026 and the remaining raised by 30 June 2026.
To register your interest in our charity places, please complete the short form below and we will contact you when we’re taking applications.
Please note, you need to be aged 18 or over on the date of the London Marathon to take part.
